The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) and TransCore take us on a tour of "the most ambitious Connected Vehicle technology roll-out."  In 2015, NYC DOT selected TransCore to lead the initial design of its Connected Vehicle Pilot Deployment Program.  Moving into Phase II, TransCore will integrate its TransSuite® Traffic Management System technology with an in-vehicle device to improve traffic flow, reduce accidents, and improve pedestrian safety in the Big Apple.

TransCore and Gentex to provide automakers with vehicle-integrated tolling solution

TransCore has signed an exclusive agreement with Gentex Corporation, a major manufacturer of electronic rearview mirrors for the U.S. auto industry, to integrate TransCore's Universal Toll Module™ (UTM) into its electronic rearview mirrors. Adaptive Traffic Management Relieves Congestion in Arcadia, California

With its proximity to Los Angeles and large event venues, the City of Arcadia wanted a better way to respond to both expected and unexpected traffic congestion. So, they partnered with TransCore and KLD Engineering, P.C. to install an integrated adaptive traffic signal control system that helps monitor traffic conditions and manage congestion in high traffic areas. 

New York to be main testing ground for vehicle safety device

The New York City Department of Transportation, long-time partner with TransCore, is working on a groundbreaking Connected Vehicle program to be piloted in New York City, Tampa, Florida, and Wyoming. A smart device installed in as many as 10,000 cars, yellow taxis, buses and trucks will allow anonymous vehicle-to-vehicle communication to avoid crashes.
