Standards and Protocols Used in TransCore RFID Products

TransCore’s RFID products conform to various industry and market standards and protocols throughout the world. For example, for North American motor fleets and for many toll roads and airports, the American Trucking Associations (ATA) standard is the measure to which TransCore products conform.

North American Class 1 railroads require RFID products that conform to their Association of American of Railroads (AAR) standard.

Depending on geographic and market requirements, TransCore also provides tags and readers that conform to California’s Department of Transportation Title 21 compatibility specifications for automatic vehicle identification and readers and tags that adhere to the Interagency Group (IAG) and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Systems and Networks (CVISN) standards.
