Encompass 4

For transportation applications calling for inexpensive, fixed mount readers with mid-range performance, there is an Encompass 4 reader to fit the need. Encompass 4 readers are read only readers that have compact integrated packages that are, in turn, easy to install and maintain. Features:

Encompass 1i

Encompass 1i readers are rugged, portable complements to TransCore’s fixed mount Encompass readers. Each Encompass 1i consists of a long-range UHF RFID scan handle that mounts directly onto a powerful, Windows Mobile^® -based mobile computer resulting in a single, portable reader package.

Encompass 1i models are currently available that support the following protocols:

SeGo, eGo® and ATA – ATA (half and full frame), AAR, ASCII and Wiegand data formats

ATA only – (Half and full frame), AAR, ASCII and Wiegand data formats
