John Simler
TransCore’s President ITS Group

As TransCore's ITS Group President, John is responsible for overseeing TransCore's core toll collection, intelligent transportation system, transaction processing businesses.

Prior to his current position, John served as chief operating officer and a senior vice president for TransCore, where he managed several multimillion-dollar computerized toll system installation and maintenance contracts, including the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority.

Before joining TransCore, John served as a senior planner at McNeil Consumer Products Co., where he managed a $75 million production plan. Additionally, John worked at Coopers & Lybrand as a certified public accountant, where he directed financial and operation audits for a wide range of companies.

John earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science degree in accounting from New York University's Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Haverford College.
