TIS enables users to control and monitor dynamic message signs and highway advisory radios. The WYSIWYG application supports the National Transportation Communications and ITS Protocol (NTCIP) and may be used with multiple sign types and manufacturers.
TIS includes a dictionary, automated scheduling, and management views that permit personnel to simultaneously view message content on multiple devices.
VCS supports complex video switching and routing. It includes camera, projector, VCR, and tuner controls as well as hierarchical device contention, image capture, and streaming video.
EMS enables users to manage and track planned events as well as incidents (manual and automated). It enables operators to add graphic overlays and text to the screen view and to track their responses or actions.
The system automatically geo-codes and accepts internal and external input. It also keeps logs, generates standard reports, and links the map and database.
EMS also enables scenario management. It enables users to select intersection timing plans, section timing plans with geographic- or keyword-based criteria. It is linked to incidents and planned events and tracks requests versus results. EMS supports multi-agency agreements and plans.

SCATS® is the most proven and deployed adaptive traffic control system on the market that optimizes cycle length, splits, and offsets on a cycle-by-cycle basis utilizing real-time detection.
SCATS® has repeatedly provided measured operations improvements including reductions of up to 70% in delays and 50% in travel time. More than 1,000 U.S. and 28,000 worldwide intersections are controlled by SCATS®.
SCATS has proven results in the United States. Several independent studies have shown that based on reduced emissions alone, system payback has been obtained within 18 months from installation.
