Speed, convenience, and safety

In response to accidents
EVR is used to automatically collect driver and vehicle data, ensuring accuracy for reports, and allowing officers to concentrate on the people involved, as well as other aspects of an accident. When equipped with a portable printer and laptop, accident reports can be printed at the scene and given to drivers. EVR is also an added advantage to mobile data transmission abilities in many patrol cars.

Expanded coverage in times of crises
Increase the level of coverage without significantly increasing the number of agents and ensure public safety using spontaneous monitoring in the face of AMBER Alerts, Homeland Security Threat Level Advisories, or special events that cause traffic congestion.

Security and Access Control
Components of the EVR system can be used to control entrance and exit at secure facilities or to automatically detect vehicles operating in restricted zones.
