TransCore has both the RFID technology and the project expertise to implement container-oriented systems. TransCore installed RFID sensors to positively identify transponders on trucks and electronic seals on cargo containers that cross the border. This identification is used to automatically close Customs bonds and is capable of monitoring the movement of international, in-bond, and containerized trade transactions in the region as they moved north along Interstate 5 and across the international border at the commercial Port-of-Entry at Blaine, Washington.
TransCore’s experience covers the transportation spectrum and includes design, integration, installation, operations, and maintenance of small and large transportation systems, including design and manufacturing of RFID and SatCom wireless technologies.
